ID please. Armatus or tats???

If they are really 4", I don't think its an Armatus, but I could be wrong. Here are two pictures of an armatus at 2" and 4"..

The pics he posted were from the vendor. Could be taken when they're smaller than 4". BTW, you need to teach me how to take pics, Cuz!

That is why I posted 2 pictures. One that is 2" and one that is 4". So compare it to both..

Well hear is a 3'' Tat for reference. It was the smallest i have ever aquired. And then the 2nd pic is the same guy at 5''

I have never seen a Tat at 4'' have a clear tail. I have only owned 4 Tat's and 2 of them were bought at 2.5''s and they had he reddish brown tail at that size. Looks scomb to me. If you can get a eating vid that would help.

As I said before they are not likely to be a scomb as I have kept scombs before and they don't swim heads down just like a scomb do. They also doesn't have a dot which a scomb should have. I have seen them in person and they are not shy at all. He actually got 10 of them in his tank. All are eating well when some neons are being trown into the tank. They would even chased it. They are also active even thought they just arrived last Friday on April 17.

I'll post pics of this sabertooth tetra again once I get it. I'll pick up in May 1.
