Any fish can. These are hardier, that doesn't necessarily mean they're less skittish. That comes down to the personality of the individual fish.

still wondering if they have that SDS like the scombs. If not, i'll consider buying some for a future stock!
Mine made it almost 6 years. Similar to Tats as it seems most people get bored with them, add more aggressive tank mates then they end up doing poorly. They can be skittish, fragile, and can rub half their snouts off IF kept in the wrong conditions. They need room and careful selection of tank mates but other then that they are pretty hardy, easy to convert and can be great teacher fish for stubborn hard to break fish. Mine didn't seem aggressive at all towards tank mates and was actually pretty timid around other fish.
It'll come down to individual fish's personality and the quality of care it's given.......

sds may be dithes but when they ae 6 to 8 inches they stress the heck out of my 11 inche african pike when they feed.
