I'm curious how you can tell 100% that that's not a pure trimac? I'm not saying it is a trimac, but it certainly seems like a possibility...is there something in the pic that confirms flowerhorn or some other hybrid?

This is interesting. With all the contraversy over pure bred or mutt we should start a fish registry like the AKC where we can give out pedigrees with fish. That's what these hybreds are leading us to. Here is of picture of my little Trihornflowermac. Real of hybred? We'll never know, a genitic time bomb! I paid 7 bucks for him so eatherway he still looks good to me and has a bad 2.5 inch additude.
