What kind of grouper is this. White with black spot on it. I ordered it from saltwaterfish.com. He is going to my 180gal. Thanks guys. I got it because I have never seen one like this before.

i doubt it.. young panthers are lanky and awkward looking..

he looks pretty matured

an no i've never seen a leu/melanistic red spot... there's litterally a butt load of different kind of grouper.. look hard/long enough you'll find it

Not a panther grouper....body shape / spots are wrong i think...

Am thinking at the moment, a juvi SP. of sweetlips....hmmmm....this is a toughy...
