^^One, Leporinus is NOT a Characin, but closely related Two, Leporrinus have verticle stripes as a rule
I just looked it up, Leporinus are in the suborder of Characins butg branch out into their own family. Just like all Catfish are in Siluridei, but Plecos aren't closely comparible to a Redtail Catfish.Delhezi222;2442918; said:Leporinus are, in fact, characins.
