Friend bought this as a carpintes but I think it might be a hybrid

i am not kidding. i don't even think it has carpintis blood in it. carpintis have bigger pearls. so i guess you don't like flowerhorns?

Looks a bit like my Carpintis x Blood Parrot. Don't know if that's what it is, just putting it out there. It's not a ZZ flowerhorn.

I was thinking that too, looks like it might fade, I can see some red coming in, not bad for $12

it has a flower on the dorsal so it is probably female. it does look like a fh with a short flowerline to me, but everyone says it is not. jp is more of an expert so i would go with what he says
