I concur, especially given the location. They occur along brackish waters in the Atlantic seaboard. They are sold in the hobby as jade goby. They get big (2 feet) and fat. :)

My guess is Phil (Oddball) thought jpatz was in Melbourne, Australia, not Florida, because he's usually omniscient. :D
 
I would also say that it is a fat sleeper.
 
Dang It!!!! I did, in fact, think he's down under. Forget my 1st guess. It's a fat sleeper. I should have realized my error when I noted no white or yellow distal margin on the dorsals that similarly colored aussie species have.
