I think it means venezuelan.
Look at some adult pictures before you decide to get one. They lose all those markings. Don't get me wrong, I had one for a while, and it was a great fish. But sickest pike ever, not close.
This is great advice for any pike, to be honest. Most completely change from juvenile to adult coloration. Sometimes they go from ugly ducklings to swans, and sometimes it's the opposite.
Venezuela isn't the most desireable pike per say, so not a lot of venders sell them. More just local pet stores. Sometimes they show up on lists for venders though, I've seen Rapps carry them a time or two, or on aquabid.
