I'm growing 8 wild caught L134s to breeding size as well as another 8 L066, any pointers from u guys that are very successful ?
Variety of good quality foods, clean tanks often, use larger tanks rather than small ones from the start, and be patient...... it all takes time.

Thankyou
Currently I have the 8 L134s &L066s in their own 40g breeder, bare bottom, over sized canisters with a good amount of current and 82F. Lots of different sizes caves and seasoned driftwood, 50% water changes weekly. They're growing fast on live blackworms, zucchini skin, and frozen mysis shrimp. Water quality is pristine. Just need more size, they do square off a bit and swap caves constantly.

Very nice, only thing I would really change is drop the temp a bit...... around 78 would be best for them both. I heat the room to ~78 to 80 and have a few tanks that I have heater in only because they need it a bit warmer. But for the most part plecs don't need it over 80 and as far as I have seen do better when it's not overly warm.
