I pick one up like that in the spring. It was marked as a red Texas.... I do not believe it to be one. Not sure what it is comprised of but definitely has some FH and he is an ass hole. He changes colors with his mood. He is an interesting fish! (Pics are of his many mood changes...?)

He’s in a 125 gallon with some other very aggressive fish. He’s bffs with a Red Devil. There’s a FH, Green Terror, Red Terror and 3 fire mouths as well. I know that’s a lot but I intentionally over populated the tank. First time I ever tried anything like this and it’s worked. I had a single 16” FH in the tank for years and I wanted more than one fish. I figured I would end up with 3 or 4. So far they are all getting along... ??
