i think it's a male. the vent is kinda round shape. dont know wht tht means. xD wht size is it now? wont know until they reach around 5inches. ID? Red devil? Mid evil?

I went to google up for pictures and it appeared that midevil do have different colors/shapes of eye. Lesson #1 never rely on the eye to ID
Honestly it looks like more midevil than flowerhorn cross.

i dont know bout midevils, but i sure know how to vent a red devil, which is the same as we do on flowerhorns, 'U' for female and 'V' for male.

I've seen a lot of midas/red devil, and after seeing your post did a fairly extensive google image search just to be sure. And none I have ever seen have pupils like that. The only fish I have ever seen with pupils like that are parrot's and fh. Would love to see the pics of RD/Midas that you found that have parrot eyes, sounds very interesting.
Why didn't you want to be admitted that you were wrong about it? The eyes of fish in question looks like the eyes you would find in some RD and Midas.
Because I've never once in my life seen eyes like that on either a red devil or midas, why can't you produce the pics you claim show it?
Prove me wrong and I'll admit it, I've already done it once in this thread, I have no problem doing it again. However do me the favor of providing incontrovertible evidence.
yup, might be a hybrid rd or midas. u should be grateful man cuz tht sure is a cool fish. to me, a hybrid is much more unique than those original ones.
