+1, I agree hybrids are unique and each one is a little different and interesting in it's own way.yup, might be a hybrid rd or midas. u should be grateful man cuz tht sure is a cool fish. to me, a hybrid is much more unique than those original ones.

does he like always hides out? maybe it's still stressed out from the buy. my red devil was like this when i first put her in my tank. doesnt want to eat all. but after about a month, she's starting to get use to me and will eat anything tht falls into her tank except pellets. hahah.
if ure fish is eating a few than it's okay. it'll get better soon.
Yeah, he always hides etc. Hope he comes around soon I got Sumo from him to see what happens... if he is still stressed, wont eat those pellets. hahah try feeding him some live shrimps. he might go after it and soon will get used to it's surroundings including u.
