ID this fish!

I have seen this fish at work for a couple weeks now, but I just can't figure out what it is. All I can think of is very low grade flowerhorn or trimac or something, but I don't think that is what it is. Let me know what you think. Its a bit over 6 inches long.

Oh ya, I can probably get it for 15 dollars. Is it worth it?

Yeah I am looking at my Trimac right now and body looks diff. than that of a Trimac. Fish looks stressed.

If its $15 then it is most definitely a low grade Flower horn-you rarely see pure Trimacs at LFS-and if they are labeled as Trimac-the labeling is wrong.

Its up to you if you want the fish-Personally, I don't like hybrids.

fish definitely looks stressed . . . to me it looks like a normal trimac, but since hybrids are so common these days, I don't know how anyone could say for sure

Definately part trimac or a female trimac.
I would say some kind of trimac hybrid.
I don't think it is an intentional flowerhorn (whatever that is) because it is so dark.

This is my 2 cents, as a trimac owner, but no expert.

Anything with trimac blood will make a great fish!

looks like a stressed trimac - buy it and give it some TLC and see what it will turn into!
