My baby Oscar looked similar to yours. If I remember correctly, he was sold to me as a Zebra Oscar. Unfortunately, the first picture I took of him was after having him for over a month (by then he had already lost a lot of the "zebra" pattern and the typical tiger pattern had set in). You can still see a little bit of the Zebra pattern on his tail/fins in the pic below:
