So, to clear things up, please answer the following:

1. Does Don do business in VB? He told me he doesn't and told you he does.

2. Are YOU in fact Don Conkel?

; )

I've had several email conversations with Don and he has a much better grasp on the English language and common courtesy, so you can scratch 2 off your list. If you really want to get a hold of him I can give you his phone number/email address, he's quite pleasant to deal with and you bypass the wannabes.

Love that!

Yes, #2 was a rhetorical exercise. He's not being helped by his posse. An honest, civil discussion would only help his business, and the gutter tactics are too bad.

Looking forward to those pics Buddha. They're cool fish whether a new species or just a race of fenestratus.

Isn't it a shame almost every CA/SA thread gets snowballed with personal arguments? How about reading the forum etiquette sticky thread again?

That dead horse is alive and well on Holland Rd. in Virginia Beach! :WHOA:

Paratheraps-a-plenty there too! They look very healthy (unlike a few others they have), and I'm about to pull the trigger on a couple of pairs.

I used to drive on Holland road everyday. The only big pet shop I know is Animal Jungle. And another near there is Pet Paradise.. And trust me, I went through the phone book and searched for all the pet shots.. What store are you talking about?

So you are saying these are not new? Then where are the ones that's been around?

Can't be fenes, because fenes dont look like this color.

Most the paratheraps got similar shapes but are different morphs. This is just one of them. Well.... Unless you breed a pair of Fenes and these come out as oddballs then they can be Fenes and are not a new specie.

Fish like this are the reason why I can never have enough tanks. Thanks a lot for forcing me to increase the number of my future stock. I want some of those fry!

a few more pictures tried to take so more of the female, she changes color alot, will try to catch her many different changes if i can.

I believe he did mention it was animal jungle. Also, they were thought to be a regional variant of fenestratus until just recently when they were dna tested as a new species.
