I'm 99.99999% positive that's a ldollar sunfish. The only sunfish with that kind of ear that is long and going up a little would be a dollar sunfish. Very similar to a long ear, but a lot of people get dollar sunfish and longear sunfish confused.
Although I have seen a longear in a very rare ocassion with that kind of ear shape. If you can get a colored picture, it would help BIG TIME as longear and dollar have different coloration

there has been giant musky from canada and there is musky there but musky tend to be a little warmer of a fish then pike and fishing for numbers and size is better here in the US then up there.
