My vote is for the syn. It looks like it has the markings and if you look at the fins it looks like they are coloring up like a syn as well.

I think most of the Vieja or former Vieja family has the red fins though. What makes me think it's NOT a Synspilum is the black horizontal line that extends 2/3 of the body.

I have Syns and Zonatum ranging from 4-6cm. Your fish definatly looks like my Syns. Zonatum look alot different to Synspilum even when they are young!
