thanks for the post up there. Now I think this one is right. The Oxydoras stuebelii would make sense as what the store ordered. Seeing Oxydoras and thinking niger without reading farther.

I am assuming that the store saw Oxydoras and stopped reading and just ordered. I bought them as the turkishni or how ever you spell that.

I am gonna run with the stuebelii. Deep deep down I was hoping it was the 20-27" sp.

Turushuki catfish is one of the common names for O. niger indeed.
