Ideal tank size PBass??

Hey guys, this is my first post on here. I just wanted
to get your opinions on the tank size for PBass. Right now I have 2 Pbass and a silver aro in a 20 gal. tank, but I'm getting a 60 gal. tank today to transfer them in. How many more PBass can I put in a 60 gal. tank not including the 2 I already have? They're about 2-3 inches long. Appreciate it guys.

a 60 is not even close to housing an arowana or a Pbass for life. I would think you want to get to a 250 gallon.

NONE of them will be able to stay in that tank for any amount time....

You could probably get away with the three you have in a 60g as long as you have VERY good filtration, feed sparingly AND you are religious with your water changes. Skip the 60g and get a 180g. That will hold the three you have for a while.

Just search the forums here and you'll find all the info you need to point you in the right direction. It's all in there somewhere! The more you read the more you'll get to know - and the more you'll get hooked!! .

to keep pbass into adulthood, i would say nothing under a 72x36" footprint, i'm building a 144"x48" for mine, there big fish, and deserve big homes. a 180 will not last long at all.
