Hey guys, this is my first post on here. I just wanted
to get your opinions on the tank size for PBass. Right now I have 2 Pbass and a silver aro in a 20 gal. tank, but I'm getting a 60 gal. tank today to transfer them in. How many more PBass can I put in a 60 gal. tank not including the 2 I already have? They're about 2-3 inches long. Appreciate it guys.

sorry, we locals here are more accustomed to tanks measured in dimensions and not by volume of waters, usually in our asian context,we use length, breadth & height, say like 3 ft or 4 ft or 6 ft
there is also a standard measure how to classify these tank sizing proportionate to the form factor
like we say 3ft, its like 3x1.5x1.5 or 6ft, its 6x2x2
these are more or less the ideal but of course people can customised and alter the measurements but i believe tank makers have a calculated approved technique to approve these unconventional way due to factoring the water volume and other technical complexities
so by the way, we here go with the 5ftx2x2 or 6ft range for peacock bass die to the nature of these territorial and large fish size
cheers!

You could probably get away with the three you have in a 60g as long as you have VERY good filtration, feed sparingly AND you are religious with your water changes. Skip the 60g and get a 180g. That will hold the three you have for a while.

what kinda advice is that???? he will be ok with good filtration???? I don't care if he runs 10 FX5 on that thing you can not keep a arowana and 2 Pbass in a 60 gallon. The aro will be the length of the actual tank.
