Hi folks,
I would really appreciate some ideas for stocking a 37 gallon tank, because I can´t decide.
The dimensions are 32 long x 14 wide x 20 high.
Are there any american non-dwarf cichlids that could be kept with a few dither fish?
A pair of Krobia xinguensis and some tetras?
A single Cichlid as centerpiece?
Have a nice day!

An umbee might work. Haha jk that's a joke please don't do that. Convicts, fire mouths, just some off the top of my head.

Agree with above. Also if you can find, consider other thorichthys sp. or maybe some acara. Zebra acara are pretty neat.

A pair of keyholes may work,or rainbows. It is a bit cramped though.

37 really isn't as small as you seem to think. I have one I just took down and I was growing out my severums. Each were about 4 in with Denison barbs with them and they had a good amount of room. Obviously wouldn't have works as they kept growing, but it worked for that size.

That's OK if you have other tanks lined up.If that's the op's only tank it won't be a grow out.

Yes, but my point is 1 or 2 4" cichlids would generally, not as a rule, be fine with dither.
