Just need help identifying this fish.

Well let me rephrase my question. South american or African? I bought it from a local pet store and they said it was South American. But I think it might be African.

Every ob peacock I've had was a freaken psychopath.

Thanks for the help. And yeah he is aggressive. Since he is still a juvenile he isn't too bad. But I will be setting up a African tank with him in it to be safe.

I find this to be true about any and all african cichlids I have attempted to keep
