Is the green/blue irridescence only found in the Peruvian Angels?
I have a 'koi' angel that looks different than other kois I have seen. It has the irridescence you speak of in it's fins, and behind it's gills in some places. Could it be a hybrid, or are the colors of Koi Angels more defined in some specimens?
*not hijacking thread*
*really*
:D
Peruvian do have iridescent green in them. So if you have iridescent green in your marble or koi then it was probably cross breed with an angel with peruvian blood. Check out my thread in the photo section. I was able to capture the green on the angel.

instead of starting a new thread, can anyone help me id this angel? he's white with silver patches and getting more and more of a blue hue as he matures. he's my favorite fish at this moment as he can hold his own against convicts, texas and bloodparrots. am growing out some german blues who can hopefully later keep him company.
It could be a sunset blusher if it gold crown. If gold crown is not on the head then I believe it's called a snow white angel. Maybe even platinum but the picture is kind of washed out so it's hard to tell.

he doesn't have a golden crown, he has a silver patch over his head with a turqoise hue. his body is not completely shiny like a platinum either, it's more like a koi without any black or orange...
