Doesnt look like a gold to me at all. More like a G2 red or some called them banjar red or 1.5 red.

lol okay. the guy told me its a wild golden and there's a probability of 1/25 among those wild gold that one will be red. which photo you looked at? even the 2nd photo without the chilli red light, you think its a red? coz it looks like its yellow? correct me if im wrong.

thx for all the replies =)

For now the finage will be red. But in due time, it'll lose it redness and turn yellowish infact. Scales will never turn red nor gold. Most probably like a Green aro.

Btw, never believe in wild aro kinda story. They just out to take the money out of your pocket.

Im guessing low grade banjar red...

We can guess all we want BUT its simply to young to tell at this point.

Wild caught? Unless you REALLY trust the guy, I highly doubt it! LOL

nan, the first pic is with chilli red light, the 2nd with the flash of the cam. yeah, looks like i'll have to wait until it grows to 10" or so. anyone ever saw one like this?

What do you mean chili red light?

And the reason i doubt the 2nd picture is because it looks really odd, like a copy and paste job to me...

I'd still go with an RTG in the first photo but 2nd photo looks like a low grade or green to me

oh ok i see. there are special lights used to intensify the colour of the fish. i thought the first pic lol. nan i can assure you the 2nd pic is not fake lol. i took it myself. my photo skills are not very good, forgive me =P

don't tell me its a green plz lol. coz i paid $200 for it!

okay. so its red gold or green? =P

No such thing as red gold....

It's a G2 red or called banjar red or G1.5 red which will never turn red nor gold. It will remain plain like a green aro with yellowish looking finage.

It's actually possible to tell what kinda fish it is right now. The markings on the finnage and this fish look like stunted to me.
