if you actually care about fish, then you would criticize a post if someone is doing something that may be harmful to the fish...

i was just going to post and say that those people really seemed to love their catfish. you can hear the lady in the background saying "bye bye baby" .

All debates and laws aside. They obviously thought they were doing the right thing and thought they were doing the best for the fish they seemed to care about.

they may be uninformed, but their hearts seem to be in the right place.

last time i was in korea i caught a catfish fishing in han river...u knw its more fun that way

Yes, but did you catch a redtail cat? There is a difference. I do not bear the burden of proof, you do. You are the one that said that Korea imports these fish for use as a source of food. I would like to know where you found this information. I'm simply contradicting you based on my geographical knowledge of Korea, and the fact that the redtail cat is a tropical fish that could not tolerate a cold winter. I'm just asking you to support your claim. I'm not afraid of being wrong, God knows, it wouldn't be the first time in my 33 years.

I'm not as upset that an uninformed aquarist was doing something that he thought was the right thing, as I am that a couple guys, who just joined in JUNE '08, decided to start insulting the members of this forum for standing up for their beliefs. There are many ways to make your point tactfully. These two members have not used them very well.

@hawkfish....now ur last post will keep me entertained in the boring time im abt to spend in my class...now i c what's bothering you...that some guy joining in JUNE is proving you wrong...lemme tell u,u might have been on this forum for a million years but posting posts like "nice looking fish" "great tank mate" "rofl rofl" and increasing ur post count {with some usefull posts too} does not make u immune form new member prooving you wrong....you are intimidated arent you?
if i wanted to insult you i would have just said "now i c what's bothering you...that some guy joining in JUNE is OWNING you" or "get over it,ur useless"...but i wont do it...im here to have a rational convo...

another thing....i did not insult any senior member...and YOU seem to be the only old member sore abt me....so stop trying to drag other senior members into this or trying to gain the sympathy vote of them by saying im insulting senior members...there are a lot of senior members here who helped me,and hell,ive seen a lot of junior members providing usefull info to seniors too...

I'm not in this, but I think you are reading too far into things here....We are all a bunch of people smart enough to operate and navigate a PC to the point where we can use it for silly things, like the hobby we all hopefully have in common...Learn how to identify friend and foe, and try not to attack a potential friend
