If my significant other said anything like this to me regarding fish or otherwise this would be the exchange:
Her: If you don't (such and such) then X will happen.
Me: I don't understand. You know exactly where the door is and how to get out. But I will be happy to show you the way if needed.

she'd be the type of wife that the husband would come home to her concreting the driveway in a singlet/shorts and boots! with a Beer and a ciggy goin...ewww i can see it now... LOL
however she got control of him so well, i would love to have a man, that just did what I said like that, I would never ask someone to give away there fishies. but It seems he is very wealthy and does not care about his fish, or she does not care about his fish or him. My werser half/insignificant other tells me im greedy when im buying fish food , so he really wants no fish,, did I listen,,,, no way.... I know ive got a future ex husband, every time I do a water change, my fish love me more than he does, and I spend more time with them for that reason. that guy is kinda lucky that his wife cares at all.

Sorry to hear your husband sucks. Take him to the local aquarium, then push him into the shark tank. BAM! No more crappy spouse. Jaws has lunch.
