alright who's the three that voted for the second choice!

GET EM!

Number 4 right here.

If fish keeping was made illegal worldwide and was support by all governments it would become impossible to keep them and I for one would give them up. Sure, now people can get away with keeping illegals but it is only select fish. If it was every fish it would be easy to decide whos houses to check first, 24,982 people here would make it to the list. Others that keep masses of tanks would make it to the short list, easy done and all the info is on this site. What you own, how many tank, size of the tank and most importantly your location (which, don't kid yourselves, would be handed out). Being on sites like this would be like flying a flag out your window.

Yeah but you would have to be pretty stupid to remain on this site and boast about your collection.

Guess I'd have to become a criminal. I'd keep my current fish, but I don't know if I would/could replace them after they passed away if all fish keeping was banned.

Go back to using my apartment tanks to grow aquatic plants.
The two tanks boarded at my parents house would be in storage until I got my own place and then I'd either use them to grow plants or as showcases for my work.

I can't even imagine. Have no idea what to do. I like to stay legal, but at the same time, people have to take steps if the government passes a law that doesn't make sense. I think I would exhaust all legal options before breaking the law. Sometimes defiance of the law is appropriate, but our government has laws in place that make it difficult to keep a law in place that the public doesn't favor or that don't make sense to the well being of the country.

We could form a fishkeeping militia, lol.

They'll take my fish over my dead body
