Generators are not a problem I'm a commercial contractor. I have generators that I tow behind my truck. The problem is going to get it from the warehouse in the thick of it. I'd rather not risk my own safety for a couple hundred bucks in fish.

I think it's pretty safe to say that everyone here feels that way but the generator is a problem if you don't keep one on hand and near your tank for when you need it.

Why wouldn't you just take a generator home once you were made aware of inclement weather? If they're accessible to you, seems foolish to not plan ahead.

If you got tanks near Windows move them or cover the Windows ..remember big tanks take longer to get colder so first come the little tanks ...boil. water n put them in bottles that would keep you tank heated
