If you are a dialy feeder, don't feed your fish...

I feed my adult male haps/peacocks in my show tank every other day. My grow out tanks one to twice a day with one day a week fasting.
 
lol, my fish are lucky to eat 3 times a week. i try to simulate their natural eating periods. which is not, everyday.
 
i feed vary similar to chub_by but but i feed my fish according to days of the week
Monday: frozen and pellets
Tuesday: frozen
Wednesday: pellets
Thursday: frozen and pellets
Friday: frozen
Saturday: pellets
Sunday frozen and pellets

so on so forth

This is a good way, but i couldn't keep track of the randomness... :)
 
I will say this, this morning, after the end of the 24 hours, my tank water was crystalline in appearance. I don't overfeed as a general rule, but i think it goes to show how much poop my water cows make. :)
 
Anytime I get close to my tank, my fish know a meal (or fresh water/tank maintenance) is coming. If I don't feed the little buggers every day they beg, jump out of the water, and nip at each other.
