If at all possible I would be a glass cat or ghost shrimp. Both can easily disappear in a tank.

Why would a mermaid have to be depressed?? Dude, I would be in seventh heaven if I could do that!!! hence the name - I am always in the water, so if I could live, and breath in the water, I'd be livin it up! Plus I could hitch a ride on Dolphins and Sharks, and all that!!
