Female Festae hands down. In breeding dress, there is no other cichlid as striking IMO. It's the one fish that always gets the biggest reaction from non-fishkeepers that visit my house. She likes to show off too. Very personable fish.

Second place would have to go to the Bocourti. Stunningly beautiful fish that I don't have room for........yet.

Pearsei.

At the moment I am growing out some Central American CIchlids. and of them, my 2 Pearsei are my favorite. So I am new to this fish, but very into this fish at the moment.

male jag, midas or flowerhorn. it's a toss up between these 3. i'd be happy with any one of them.
