If you could keep one monster fish small forever what would it be?

Great thread.. but tbh i can't think of a single one.. i think part of the appeal of the monster fish for me is their size.... if they didn't get big they'de be just like the other fish at the lfs ect...
 
Good point MonsterMini.I would love to have a BB but don't see myself ever getting anywhere near the size tank that an adult would require...I think their patterns are more pronounced while they are young and small but then,I guess that has more to do with age than size?
 
Don't get me wrong.. I can def see a bunch of the big fish like pimas being awesome to keep if they where smaller.. but 8"?... heck alot of ca/sa cichlids get bigger then that. would say a 30" pima unstunted be awesome? heck yeah it would... But is there any 1 big fish I'de like to see "small" no.. takes away imo some of what they are.
 
Gotcha,which is probably why I did not mention two of my favorite fish.
