Hello; I already have such in a 10 gallon. When re-doibg the fish room floor I had to set up tanks to hold my fish. I put a 10 gallon on a kitchen counter (yes, i am a bachelor.) I have moved all but 4 banded kuhlis out. They have a good hiding place and are out some. Not much of a visual treat. I do have five black kuhlis in another tank that I could put in with them. An interesting thought.
Very interesting. I've wanted to try HRP for a while but haven't had the room. I'd probably do some other research into smaller cichlids like fire mouths. There are some other members of their genus that I know little about. Alternatively I'd go back to my first love and do a small knife fish.
20 long is a nice little tank. It brings back memories of a small school of black skirts and zebra danios all avoiding the Chinese algae eater and tearing up wild caught mosquito larvae. Got to love those corner box filters
