I think under 4" is for educational purpose only, so watch out. Big brother may trick you. However, I do see a lot of those green hatchling in clear container for sale almost every part of the town, tooThey sure are the most common turtle in the hood....seems every other day I see someone walking buy trying to sell the little hatchlings in those small clear containers.
I don't know where these people get them from but every spring they seem to have them to sell to whoever wants them.I wonder if they know that selling them is illegal...maybe someone has a turtle mill.thats kinda cool. Never seen hatchlings for sale myself.
Doesn't mean everyone knows things about turtles. I would think only those who collect or study them would know.I thought everyone know what red ear sliders were. Aren't they the most common turtle in the pet trade?

I wanted to know if she was an Indian. Don't think it's a big deal to ask
Aren't you her brother? Guess you can answer then.
Edit: just read the limerick thread, you're not the brother
That's the point we're trying to get through to kittie Katt and book keeper...but then you got people like rock siding with them by implying ignorance isn't an excuse. I just think it's ridiculous to imply everyone across the U.S. should know everything about every animal. You aren't born with animal knowledge so it shouldn't be common sense
