Old enough to know what?...I'm sure there's plenty of people who don't know that tortoises cannot swim,I had to look it up and some of them actually can.

I saved a tortoise, found it dried up at creek cleaning. Me and my friend thought it was dead then we came back, it moved. Since we live in Texas all creeks are almost dried up.
