I already have fish but i want to add more to my pet collection. So im thinking about getting a Ball Python, Or a Iguana,im kind of stuck in between. But the Pyhton is really getting my attention. So i would like some suggestions. And pictures of anybody with theses beutiful pets.

Holy crap is the oscar in your avatar yours? Wild coloration.

Do you have much snake/lizard experience? If not iguanas can be pretty challenging as Brooklynella says...but then agian so can ball pythons when it comes to feeding.

YEs it is hes about 3 years old, 15 inches

Wow he is really awesome, one of the nicest looking O's I've ever seen. The pattern, very nice.

does it have to be an iguana or a ball python if not
for snakes a corn or rat snake would be better and for a lizard I think a beardie or leopard geckos would be best:)

Iguanas are messy, eat a lot, poop a lot, and will probably whoop your @ss one day when its fully grown.

Ball pythons are the pinnacle in low-maintenance pets as long as you set them up properly to begin with.

If you even have to ask "should you get an iguana," then the answer is probably no.

If you are looking for a lizard that you can interact with, I'd look into getting a bearded dragon instead. They stay a lot smaller and you can let them out of their cage without fear of them trying to get lost.

Im kind of a iguana fan. I keep a cople myself and they are some of the most fun pets I ever had. But again they are high mantenance like the others said. Have you also consider something like a blue tong skink or a chinese water dragon? they are also very hardy and beautifull lizards. In the meantime if you want at least reserch on igs here´s the best web site I can think of:www.greenigsociety.com:)
