I think melafix isnt recommended for ICH..Ive used it on sick and healthy fish no probs at all....
ill never use melafix again!

At the very least melafix promotes a healthy slime coat which could help your fish fight off ICK. I highly doubt it hurt the fish
why would u try to aclimate and medicate a fish at the same time? sounds counter productive and sressfull. melafix rocks
I have used several meds before to treat ick and wounds, but nothing works as good as salt mixed with high temps... I have lost quite a few Pbass to ick when treating with meds.. Never lost one while using salt. Look at the three beast I have now, they all had ick when I first got them, my largest one even suffered a very large wound from the heater. Salt works wonders.

melafix cured a mysterious illness that came over my O. i was happy with the results. Within a day the fish was swimming around like normal.
