Good stuff for healing torn fins

Totally.

It's actually quite inexpensive if you buy the "pond" version. It's more concentrated.

How old is the melafix? I thought there was a code date on the bottle. check with a lfs to see (smell) if there is a difference. If you just bought it, it could still have been stored or shipped improperly and gone bad (spoiled / rancid).

Obviously something happened and your quick thinking saved the fish. Good work. See if you can figure out what happened before it happens again. And clean out that tank with it melafix very well and rinse with a lot of water.

Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your pbass' welfare. :D

I noticed a difference when I use it. For fish that were fighting, or came in alittle rough. Helps the healing process. Plus it makes my room small purdy:naughty:

my pbass are perfact nothing is wrong with them.

i put melafix in my fiance's 10g tank for her guppies. a couple has the cotton fungus growth and the salt wasn't working so i bought melafix and put in 1 cap ful 10ml the correct dosage for the gallons i have and now all my fish are acting funny
some guppies swim ato the bottom and lay on their side and the rest literally float at the top. the lights are off and their sleeping but i scared to see what happens in the morning. is this behavior normal?

i think on small fishes like that needs to be given half dosesage because i done something like that in my 10g breeding tank for small guppies back in the day, i found half of my guppies were dead.... (i had 12dozen guppies. before hand)

This is a little off topic but I always laugh when someone says something is safe because it only contains natural ingredients. Both nicotine and botulin toxins are natural as well and both will kill everything in the tank.

I have put this on here before but well worth a read.
