Illegal fish questions

Right..and a shame with such an inexpensive,nutritious food source.
 
Carp? Um no
 
When I was a kid there was a Jewish family that lived behind us, a fairly wealthy couple, who asked me to keep all the carp that I caught (in the Detroit River circa 1970 - yuck) and they ate them with great pleasure.

The farm workers here don't always eat them, and they eat everything with meat on that people hunt. Any bird or beast often, but carp they leave in water to purge due to the bad taste

Yep,that's why I said that some people do like them.Here....a lot of people of Russian descent fish for carp almost exclusively.

Considering koi carp and goldfish are still being sold in they're millions here. And this is coming from someone who loves they're native Aussie icons more than most.

I'm worried once snakeheads show up it's all over the Aussie natives. Australia has nothing to compete with them. Don't get me wrong I'm not a greenie :p
