It's also impossible to stop the billions of drugs in America but the law still enforce it... I see no difference.

The point is Alabama is having a very hard time harvesting it's crops. There is a need here for immigrant workers, economically. Now, do we have to make all of them citizens...there's the rub .

Don't get me wrong the whole world cant flood in and you cant blame someone for wanting better - BUT just remember the Indians who lived here before us all didn't make us go through Ellis island or ask for any paperwork - so unless your native american or up north viking you would way more than likely not be here if it weren't for immigration - and the conquering and slaughtering in the beginning - but there needs to be some sort of comprimise - not many people will pick apples etc for 8-10 dollars an hour _ just ask your self if you would pick fruit and veggies and farm work in the hot sun fir that pay

They know full well that they hurt people living here by taking our jobs. I don't mean to sound cold with them but I have a family to take care of too so I have to think of myself first

Maybe if some of us worked harder.

I myself worked hard(only called in sick maybe 3-4 times in 6 years). Half those six years actually did 2 people's jobs because the company didn't want to have a full staff. If you mean in general, I agree as I saw many take advantage of the company.

I remember Stephen Colbert going to a open job thing on some farm in California. Any one in the us(every one who's complaining about being unemployed) could come and get hired and make minimum wage. Wanna know how many people showed up? Two, Stephen Colbert and some other guy.

I do work on a farm for $10 an hour. It's not as bad as one might think. I love the job, but I'm still in high school. During the summer I worked almost 12 hours some days, I made more money than my mom this summer. I'd say if no one else wants to work, let the people willing to work harder for less pay do it.

I've worked with migrant workers before and each and every one of them did the work of two natural born citizens. I think there needs to be a better system for them because although people complain about them stealing our jobs, the reality is that a lot of what they do are the jobs others refuse to do.

The old owner just did it for profit... New owner is doing it to protect his assets, but he to will realize it will end up costing more $$ and hours. Some of these guys only know hard work, no school, just work...

Most white guys I work with complain and flake out, I can always count on my amigos!
