Not a fish I hear of much in my 20 years of study, but they are unique. They are killifish if I'm not mistaken, I don't know much about them, but familiar with them.

Its a native to the Nevada aquifers. Alot of efforts have been made to conserve the population but successes have been very limited
Most of the Cyprinodons are threatened or endangered

Those arent too expensive over here and often available around these times of year...
It would have to be a snakehead for me. Closest we can get here is a bowfin.
Seen them, they used to keep some at the desert museum and the Phoenix zoo.
My illegal fish list includes: super red toman,muskie, super red Asian aro,Zander etc.
Ironically many of the banned species such as snakeheads and walking cats actually pose little to no threat to native ecosystems, despite this fact they're are still banned.
