... I am planning a big pool pond that will have my TRUE LOVES of catfish in it. Red Tail catfish, tiger shovelnose, marbled achara, and niger/s along with pacu, oscars, and a school of Myleus schmborgkii or redhooks, and my arowana...
If it was me and the pond was their forever home, I'd leave only RTC, niger, and pacu in that pond out of this list (even niger is questionable as pacu may bite their fins). An experience based choice. All others would be eaten or attempted to be eaten sooner or later by the RTC, even TSN and marbled Pim (unless you get lucky and your RTC(s) are male(s) and are not of good genetics, failing to exceed 3'). Just food for thought and more reading, if you willed.

TSNxRTC should work out though.

Good point! I am only planning now but advice well taken.

Do RTCxTSN hybrids are smaller mouths?
I'd say about the same as RTC or TSN of the same size. Hybrids take after the traits of the maternal species the most and TSNxRTC is more like TSN than RTC. It's like a more bulky TSN. But the mouth size is a wash for our purposes, I'd posit.

The green turushqki (Hassar Orestis) in this video by Predatory Fins are mine. I ordered them back in November. All have put on some size and are eating like pigs. The Vulture catfish also came in with this order.
The Hassar cats can be seen in this video beginning at 9:01.
In this video, this exact giraffee catfish is mine! 9:32

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS DORADIDS
Doradids and pimelodous (pictus, ornate pims, tsn, red tails, vultures, etc) are my favorites. I also love the giraffe cat family.

Nice! What's the grey syno-looking like catfish in the 4th photo?
It was a trade in at a local fish store. I have never been abled to identify it. It must be some type of giant syndontis species. Hopefully some one can id it because I'd love another one.
