X2. It may sound like a hassle but with the current Petco sale going on a 20 gallon setup would cost around $30-35 all in for a qt setup.

Cheaper than buying fish and meds all the time.

Have absolutely learned my lesson about quarantine. Thank you all so much for all the advice, hoping I can finally get this cleared up and back to enjoying our awesome hobby!

Yep been there that's how I learned about the salt/heat method. most of us have been there. Let us know how it works out.
 
I have never quarentined in my life and I haven`t had ich in years. If I do I just up the temperature and apply salt or meds.
 
Ich is a nuisance but can be managed and eliminated. I second the heat and salt and it should be under control. Dont give up!

Kinda the same mentality as not using protection for "risky behaviors" because you can just get a shot to clear up that STD ;)
