An island somewhere......
I've never had the patience to grow out a Pbass before ..... so I went with the immediate gratification last night by picking up R1_Ridah's WC Monos. They were listed at an eyeball size of 12"..... they were 15" easy! After unsuccessful at trying to feed them pellets a couple times today I noticed them eyeballing my other fish in an adjacent tank. I knew they were hungry so I decided to give them market shrimp...... HOLY MOLY! The way they feed is simply amazing! Such force and power..... I am in awe. I guess welcome to Monster PBass keeping!

dang... i wish i can keep a pbass myself... my 150gallon just doesnt cut it..

and i have yet to find any good pbass in socal..

I remember having to wear a raincoat during feeding time when I had some Pbass:D

I recently got my first Pbass. He is about 5" and for now only eats rosys. I have had some predators in my time, but this guy hits feeders faster than any of them. Pbass are a joy to feed:headbang2

no patience to grow them out? dude that is the best part of the hobby. Its like raising a child. The colour development, personality and sexual maturity development. You have no idea what your missing.

What! So. Cal. is probably one of the easier places to find nice Pbass! Infinate Aquatics had Azuls.... Rapps can ship you Orinos!

I know.... I had considered selling these but was reminded by Ruck Fules that the tank I had was filled with lame fish.... so out with the old, in with the new!
