A cichlid.... Of good size From any one of YOUR... Tanks will do as a tasty snack every now and again..... Or A nice healthy FREE firemouth.... Or similar.... :D

I pretty much got rid of most of my cichlids anyway.... can't seem to make up my mind what I want to keep. Too many fish, not enough tanks/time.

Good idea about the towel.... I usually go back after the fact but carrying one is not a bad idea.

I've never had the patience to grow out a Pbass before ..... so I went with the immediate gratification last night by picking up R1_Ridah's WC Monos. They were listed at an eyeball size of 12"..... they were 15" easy! After unsuccessful at trying to feed them pellets a couple times today I noticed them eyeballing my other fish in an adjacent tank. I knew they were hungry so I decided to give them market shrimp...... HOLY MOLY! The way they feed is simply amazing! Such force and power..... I am in awe. I guess welcome to Monster PBass keeping!

I told you to feed shrimp homo... They will take pellets don't worry. These guys were raised on pellets. I broke the pattern when they came to me because I like to feed a variety. They will eat beefheart also, just chop it down to small chunks. They will also eat dead goldfish. sometimes I freeze dead goldfish and thaw them out the freezer when ready to feed...

Don't complain about the size... you know you like it bigger than 12"..... at least that's what Kai says...

My young zul goes up into the top right corner, waits and snaps up any feeder that I drop in there so I guess it wont be too hard training him onto other foods when I get around to it.My two kels are a different story, one day they may try to out do each other by snapping down all the feeders that I drop in the tank but then there are days when they will sit on the bottom and watch the feeders swim around all day, and they never hang up at the top waiting for food.

yeah i know what you mean. i hate dealing with bass that just sit at the bottom, its hard to get those guys off live. if they are at the top waiting, its just a matter of time before they hit anything that falls in the water!

Yup,Kels are my favorites but they can be quite moody.I cant wait for my zul to grow a little bigger then when I put him with them maybe they will be more assertive.

Be careful how you word things w/this guy...mentioning splash & tremble in the same sentence he may show up at your doorstep in his speedo's...
