They will learn. I wonder who puts out more solid wasteI've got a Diamondback Terrapin and a Pink Bellied Sideneck... so far they're both awful at hunting live prey lol, but pellets beware

Based on the amount of food in I'm going to guess the diamondback, that turtle is an eating machine, the pink belly is kind of shy so it misses out on a lotThey will learn. I wonder who puts out more solid waste
Wouch. I had my left achilles tendon extended and the bone structure in my foot modified due to it being in a way that caused me pain when walking. the broke and restructured the arch of my left foot.
Also one of my leopard danios died just now, think it is safe to feed to my butterfly fish? he has eaten 2 before while it was in QT
Thankfully, in IT when your brain still functions you're basically 100% capable of working. I had to really work my doctor for lifting capacity though, I mean, 28lbs 2 year old begging for me to pick her up constantly and giving me the puppy dog eyes, how do you say no?!
I had my last appointment with the neurosurgeon though, he told me that I'm back to normal physical activity but that I should "stay away from lifting heavy things for a long time... or forever". Guess I need to start rigging up pulleys and carts all over the place![]()
You grow up being told that honest hard labor is good for ya, then you injure your back doing and have to pay someone to do it all for you. Life is funny sometimes lolHey it could always be worse. I had to realize that things just wont be the way they were... gotta dig a small trench in the yard for a small drain pipe...pay someone, had move the tanks out of the garage...pay someone
Physio was bad, school was pretty difficult. Especially since I started highschool a few weeks after the op. I'm so glad it's over nowOooh damn that sound like the recovery was a nightmare

Lol no I took the path of least resistance... Corner overflows with dursos, although I've seen your obsession threads, I like the idea of pushing everything through the pond boxes before return... I've had a lot of gunk bypass my socks, so that second level of mech would be niceZilch did you obsess over your plumbing when you put the sump in ? Iwas set on dual herbies dialed in with one gate valve now im all over the place. Lol
Aaahhh sump nerd... yes !!!!! Messed with the boxes. Plugged the factoy 3/4 intake and cut out a 2 3/8 hold on the side and reduced down to 1.5 to matchy pump intake... see any issues with it ?Lol no I took the path of least resistance... I'm definitely NOT a plumbing expert, but no, I can't see any issues with it. I ended up getting pretty quickly overwhelmed by the different options out there for sump plumbing but ended up going for the setup that would give me the least amount of hassle. The ol' durso standpipe corner overflow thing doesn't require any tuning, or any real maintenance, and I don't have to worry when the power goes out (South FL, we get tons of them, they just don't last long)
Since I saw the pond box idea I've been trying to figure out an effective way to get it set up in my sump... since the one I have isn't custom it's a trigger systems submerged filter designed for marine... I just never went above and beyond to customize it for fresh other than loading it with a ludicrous amount of pond matrix lol. I want to do more with it though, probably going to get some LED floods and start growing a mess of plants in one of the chambers, since right now it's just open space with heaters, it would be nice to use that space as a nitrate sponge
