In the winter time my tanks get 40-50% every 10 days or so. Other than that, its 75% every week like clockwork.
I really need to get a drip going.
i've seen his tanks in person, looks pristine and fish look great but had no idea you were taking out that much water at once. oh well, to each their own. i think alot of people on this thread are searching for the pros and cons and not really getting many answers other then personal preference

Oh and I read your pothos post and I dig the slick tire over the tank pic you just posted. lol.. A buddy of mine got a set of 4 used indy tires and made them all into different tables and decorations for his place. He just got married. I wonder how long his artwork will stay.

Agreed.. chemistry should win out on this one. You can change more than needed and still be fine within reason, but whether it was needed or not is up to science I think.
