I've been looking at all different kinds of geos and there all beautifull. Also it's a must to have fine sand, I have the for my tank. You can use smooth gravel from what I learned also.

I know that is you keep large bichirs and large arowanas with small rays it can cause serious problems (Kill he stingray). I know if the stingray is grown or atleast close to grown they are usually fine.
