They arent meant to. They're made for reptiles.
I dont think the glass is as thick as a normal aquarium.
But ive never tried so no personal experience here.

he's the sweetest thing ever. my daughter met him and is absolutley thrilled. She just cant tell her grandma becuase she has a rediculous, extreme fear of lizards. my daughter had it on her shoulder for about 10min and then wanted to carry him some more. she says goodmorning to him first thing and goodnight right before bed. its sooo cute!

as for freddy himself, i moved the rock over and h immediatly got on it and stayed there he loves it. he still have some veggies and crickets around. im gonna get him worms soon to see if he liks them.

my dragon lasted for about 8 years before the master called him up i fed him crickets and celery mostly but i dipped the crickets in calcium powder and a few pinki mice once in awhile

i wonder what it is about beardies that kids tend to gravitate towards them more than most other reptiles, lol. i always took a few dragons with me to a school here for 2nd 3rd and 4th graders to learn about them and the beardies were always a hit.

they can sometimes stop feeding for a couple days due to the stress from the move. so don't be alarmed if he seems uninterested, he'll start vacuming up those crickets and green in no time :)

funny u should say this i was about to ask.

he has his bowl full of greens and crickets all over the place some even land on his head, he doesnt seem interested in anything he just sits in his little corner, goes to bask and back in the corner. im hoping he its just the move and gets back into food soon i want him to be happy :D:D

i would try taking out all the food from the tank for a day or two. once he gets hungy he'll start mowing them down.
