Is it normal for the delhezi to swim around the tank alot when you first get them. The other 2 guys I got went straight to the bottom and started eating this delhezi has been all over the tank

All depends on personalities man. My delhezi swims all day errrrr day. At night he perches in the floated Anubis in the tank. My two sens both swim constantly but the regular one more so than the albino, and my koliba is a nicely patterned, non-moving tank decoration lol. Welcome to the poly world, one of the best fish you'll keep hands down.

They are addictive. I have a delhezi about 10 in. I am after a lap and koliba. Whenever I get a chance I will get these

my koliba was the coolest one I've purchased yet for sure. My del however outgrew him within a month lol.

I have been looking at them also just need to research more before I order anything. Need to find out out fast the grow and stuff first. So far I'm loving these guys already so much better than a tank full of dats

i got a 4" baby cb endli last year in like january and he's currently just under a foot. you could find even smaller ones than i got tho i actually just saw some really little 2" ones over the weekend

My 16" koliba is the most active in my tank always swimming ... Then the hybrid then the del .... Pbb moves fairly often but usually just slithers the bottom doesn't really swim... Had a old endli that literally never stopped moving .... Ever!

Congrats!
Delhezis are my favorite polyp as well, I see that your 2 bichirs are about the size of my 2 dels.
I also have 2 small senegalus, about half the length and quarter the mass, but they get along well.

My dels are not seen until shrimp is added to the tank haha, senegalus are all over the place all the time.

The Sen started eating within min of going in the tank but the del won't touch anything yet and after all the crap with dats she has about had it.

What happened with the dats? Don't worry about its feeding habits yet. Some go on 'hunger strikes' for a while after being added or when stressed. Welcome to the best sub forum on mfk, by the way :p

Once your other two are comfortable they might start swimming around. After settling, activity levels, in my experience, have a great deal to do with the aquascape, number of tankmates, and amount of food they are consuming.

Good luck!
